1 Apr 2007 - The New Operational Year
The new operational year kicked off with an early morning (06.45) call for the responders.
A year ago there were 2 calls in the first weekend. We are all wondering how busy THIS year wil be.
With around 80 callouts last year, we are prepared for and anticipate a similar number this coming year.
Most months we give around 95% cover. Our aim is for 24/7 cover.
If we had just a few more in the team we could acheive this target.
