14 Mar 2006 - Response Vehicle

We have now collected the keys to our white diesel engined Nissan Primera.
The vehicle was kindly donated by Wool and Bovington Motors and is much appreciated.
With it's emergency vehicle livery, the car will be seen around the village in readiness for action.
Mr Tim Pine of Wool and Bovington Motors has very kindly donated a vehicle for the group to use to get to their first responder calls. The group have been trained by Dorset Ambulance. The group will assist Dorset Ambulance Service with responding to 999 calls, they will be called at the same time as an ambulance is . The group aim to cover an area from Marley Wood, through West and East Lulworth, to as far as Coombe Keynes and Newtown Hill. The group hope to go live within the next couple of weeks. As like other responder groups in Dorset all members are volunteers, but they work very closely with Dorset Ambulance Service.
